FRIEDRICH MEENEN died March 11, 2011 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the
age of 96. He was born on July 19, 1914 in Clay County Kansas, the son of John Meenen and
Bertha Beninga. Friedrich graduated from Clifton High School. He earned a Bachelors Degree
and Masters Degree from Kansas State Agriculture College. Friedrich married Bernice Bryan on
June 12, 1938. Friedrich was a 4-H club agent in Wyandotte County. He worked as an extension
Agent in Barber County and as a Crop Forage Specialist at Ft. Hays Experiment Station.
Friedrich and Bernice returned to the Clifton area where he farmed until he retired in 1978. He
was a member of the Faith United Church Presbyterian and a 4-H leader for 21 years. He is
preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Morey

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Clifton, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Frank Lyn Schroeder.
Burial will be at the Riverdale Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Tuesday at Turner Funeral Home
