Gale Lund

Gale Lund, 76 died February 3, 2019 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on February 23, 1942 in Clay Center, the son of Ervin and Viola (Roberts) Lund. Gale was raised near Green, KS and graduated from CCCHS in 1959. He married Doris Thompson on June 3, 1961. Gale farmed and worked as a heavy equipment operator before starting his career in the clergy. He served in jail ministry, at the Assembly of God in Fairbury, NE and Clay Center and at the Green and Morganville United Methodist Churches. Doris preceded him in death on December 20, 2018. Gale was a member of the Clay County Ministerial Alliance and served in the Army National Guard. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services: Friday, February 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, KS

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas

Visitation: Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
