Gayle Kalivoda

GAYLE KALIVODA died November 28, 2011 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS at the age of 84. She was born on April 24, 1927 in Washington County Kansas, the daughter of Walfred Nelson and Rosie Magnus. Gayle attended the Graham School in Washington County District #50 and graduated from the Agenda High School in 1945. She attended Kansas Wesleyan University and Washburn University. She married Neil Kalivoda on July 27, 1951 and he preceded her on June 14, 2010. She was a school teacher and taught private piano and vocal lessons. She was a member of Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church, P.E.O., and the NCK Health Care Foundation. She is also preceded by one brother, Norman Nelson Survivors include: Son: Scott and wife Joyce Kalivoda, Olathe, KS Son: Kent Kalivoda, Agenda, KS Daughter: Jayne and husband Mark Lund, Green, KS Sister-In-Law: Venita Rosenow, Clay Center, KS Sister-in-Law: Betty Lang, San Lorenzo, CA Grandchildren: 7 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church in Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Russell Sizemore. Burial will be at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas.
