GAYLORD "TED" STEINBRUCK, 68 died June 16, 2007 at Salina Regional Health Center Santa Fe Campus, Salina, KS. He was born July 14, 1938 at Industry, Kansas the son of Gaylord and Josephine (Palmateer) Steinbruck. Ted attended grade schools in Oak Hill and Wakefield and he attended Wakefield and Longford High Schools. Ted married Lavina "Diane" Green Bennett on September 14, 1978. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2007. He farmed in the Oak Hill area and worked for local conservation organizations. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister. Daughter: Ronda and husband Mike Fencil, New Cambria, KS Daughter: Deanna and husband Bernelle Miller, Hutchinson, KS Daughter: Cindy Capps, Hutchinson, KS Grandchildren: 17 Grand and 14 Great Grand Step-Daughter: Loretta and husband Gene Wolf, Chaffee, MO Step-Son: Leslie and wife Donna Bennett, Colby, KS Step-Son: Clinton Bennett, Clay Center, KS Mother: Josephine Steinbruck, Oak Hill, KS Brother: Fredrick Steinbruck, Salina, KS Sister: Marcine and husband Don Hohman, Green, KS Funeral Services: Wednesday,June 20, 2007 at 10:30 am at the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill. Minister: Pastor Harold Gillespie and Pastor Wilbur Schoneweis Burial: Rose Meron Cemetery, Oak Hill, Kansas. Visitation:3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
