Genile Gambriell

GENILE IRENE GAMBRIELL died January 13, 2011 at McCrite Plaza, Topeka, KS at the age of 99. She was born on July 17, 1911 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Ernest and Emma (Schwentker) Klein. Genile was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS. She attended Clark Business School. Genile married Robert R Gambriell, they later divorced. She returned to Clay Center in 1945 and managed Gamber Music Store. Genile moved to Topeka in 1960 and worked as a merchandiser for Jupiter Discount Store. She was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church and the Sunshine Club. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Survivors include: Son: Jan and wife Carol Gambriell, Topeka, KS Grandchildren: 3 Grand and 6 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 8:00AM until service time with the family greeting friends from 10:00 until service time.
