GEORGIA BELLE BARNES died September 23, 2011 at Clay County Medical Center,
Clay Center, KS at the age of 84. GEORGIA BARNES was born on November 6, 1926 in Clay
County Kansas, the daughter of Carlos and Rose (Bowmaker) Knox. Georgia was raised in the
Clifton community and attended Parallel country school. She married Dale Barnes on January
18, 1946, he survives of the home. Georgia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the
church Altar Society. She is preceded in death by a son, Michael, sister, Ima Brown and
granddaughter, Teresa Barnes

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the
St. Marys
Catholic Church in Clifton, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Letourneau.
Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 5-7 PM At Turner Funeral Home with rosary recited at 7PM
