Gerald Dean Parks died December 13, 2012 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at
the age of 83. Gerald was born on April 27, 1929 in Ottawa County, Kansas
the son of George Delbert and Erma J.(Boucek) Parks.
Gerald was a farmer, rancher, and welder. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Parks, 2 brothers, George W. and Donald Parks, and
a sister, Mildred Parks Smith. His body was donated to the K.U. Medical Center.

Daughter: Brenda Rachel Dazvila, St. Andrews, Scotland
Step-Daughter: Barbara and husband Tom Kirchner, Clay Center, KS
Grandchildren: 2 Grand 3 Step Grand 6 Step Great Grand
Sister: Maxine and husband Duane McKain, Delphos, KS
Graveside memorial services with military honors will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 9:30
AM at the Bohemian Cemetery in Ottawa County, Kansas and there will be a luncheon after the
service at the Bohemain Hall.
Officiating the service will be Randy McKain and Michele McHenry.
Burial will be at the Bohemian Cemetery, west of Delphos in Ottawa County, KS.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials can be made to may be made to the ZCBJ 203 Lodge of Glasco or the Delphos
Presbyterian Church and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
