GLENDA CARLSON, 84 died June 16, 2014 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. She was born on November 3, 1929 in Clay Center, KS. The daughter of Glenn and Alma (Smith) Tomlinson.
Glenda grew up in the 4 Mile community in Clay County and graduated from CCCHS in 1947. She attended business college in Topeka. She married Gerald "Putt" Carlson on October 22, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 1, 2011. Glenda worked as a secretary for Farmer's Insurance for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the B.P.W. Glenda was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling with Putt after his retirement, and loved Big Band music. She is preceded in death by parents, son, Bill Carlson, two sisters, Lorraine Nelson and Betty Jane Tomlinson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:30AM at the St Paul's Episcopal Church in Clay Center, KS
Officiating the service will be Susan Sawyer
Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Clay County, KS
Visitation will be held on from 2-5 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
