Glendora Mccaddon

Glendora Mary Harris, daughter of Orrin Glen Harris and Jennie Dora Glidden Harris was born February 20, 1927, 1 ½ miles west of Clifton, Ks. Traveled to her heavenly home on 28 November 2014. She attended the Chester Grade School and graduated from the Clifton Rural High School in 1944. She became the wife of Ralph Arthur McCaddon on August 3, 1946 at the parsonage in Washington, Ks. Making their home in Clifton, Ks. Two sons were born to this union: Meredith Neil and Michael Dean. In 1974 they were transferred to Shattuck, Ok. until retirement in 1982 returned them to their home in Clifton that they built in 1963. She was a member of the Methodist Church, on merger to the Faith United Church Presbyterian, transferred to the Shattuck Methodist Church, then returning to the Faith United Church on retirement, also the American Legion Auxiliary, church organizations and the Clifton Community Historical Society holding office positions in all. She had many hobbies including traveling, quilting and others. Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Thaine C., Arlo J. and Beryl A. one sister Phyllis Borland, her husband Ralph on July 7, 2000 (just short of their 54th Anniversary) and a grandson Michael R. Surviving are her two sons and families: M. Neil and wife Jane, grandsons Eric, Terry and wife Amanda. Michael D. and wife Randi, granddaughters Kristine and husband George Elliott, Heather and husband Travis Gallatin, 10 great grandchildren and one sister in law Patricia Harris, nephew, nieces, cousins and many friend in the years of living and traveling. Viewing will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on the 3rd of December 2014 with the family in attendance and services will be on the 4th of December 2014 at 2PM at Faith United Church Presbyterian with internment at the IOOF Cemetery.
