Hank Adams

Hank died March 8, 2011 at Mercy Regional Health Center, Manhattan, KS at the age of 75. He was born on July 19, 1935 in Clay County Kansas, the son of Robert W and Neddy (Schmale) Adams. Hank was raised in Clay County. He married Darlene Shadle on July 14, 1957, she survives of the home. Hank worked for the Clay Center COOP for 31 years and then at Fullington's Lumber until his retirement. He is preceded in death by one sister. Survivors include: Wife: Darlene Adams, Clay Center, KS Son: Doug and wife Patti Adams, Clay Center, KS Son: Lonnie and wife Teia Adams, Greeen , KS Daughter: LeAnn Adams, Clay Center, KS Sister: Lois Asp, Green, KS Sister: Wava and husband Arlo Peterson, Leonardville, KS Grandchildren: 4 Grand and 1 Great-Grand Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Hank Adams Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home
