HARRIET JO OGDEN died April 16, 2009 at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community, Manhattan, KS at the age of 75. HARRIET JO OGDEN was born on June 2, 1933 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of Harry Leathers and Edna Harbaugh. She graduated from Junction City High School. She married William Odgen on June 15, 1952 and he preceded her on May 23, 2002. She was a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church, VFW Aux. #7774, Pricilla's and Rebeckah's Lodge #248 all of Wakefield. She is also preceded by 2 sisters. Survivors include: Daughter: Joni and husband Dennis Braden, Manhattan, KS Daughter: Susan and husband Scottie Gabbard, Junction City, KS Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Reverend Diana Stewart. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th from 5-7pm at the Wakefield Funeral Home in Wakefield, Ks. Memorials can be made to Manhattan Hospice in care of the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
