Hazel R. Adams

HAZEL R. ADAMS died April 29, 2010 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 99. Hazel was born on December 16, 1910 in Broughton, Kansas the daughter of Reuben and Anna (Dalrymple) Davis. Hazel was born and raised in the Broughton community. She married Raymond K. Adams on June 14, 1944 and he survives. She was a farmer's wife. Hazel was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and was also active in the choir. She is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Survivors include: Husband: Raymond K. Adams, Wakefield, KS Son: Raymond R. and wife, Lyleen Adams, Wakefield, KS 2 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 9:30AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Susan Sawyer. Burial will be at the St. John's Episcopal Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from 2-5PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the church in care of the funeral home.
