HAZEL K. BLAKE died October 7, 2010 at Mercy Health Center College Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 83. Hazel was born on May 13, 1927 in Galena, Kansas the daughter of Theodore Henry Purling and Aletha Vera Keech. Hazel was raised in Clay Center. She married Joseph E. Keeler on September 16, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1983. Hazel was co-owner of Keeler Roofing until selling the business in 1984. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: Daughter: Carol Francis, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: One Granddaughter Brother: Ernest Purling, Colorado Springs, CO Sister: Imogene Rajewski, Topeka, KS Graveside Inurnment Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas.. There will be no respect calls. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in care of the funeral home.
