HAZEL MARIE CRAWFORD died May 26, 2009 at Pinnacle Park Nursoing Home, Salina, KS at the age of 86. She was born on December 7, 1922 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Archie Kimble and Violet Lindquist. She was raised in Clay Center and worked for Swift and Company. Hazel married Lawrence Crawford on July 10, 1945. They farmed in the Clifton area before returning to Clay Center. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She is preceded in death by 1 sister. Survivors include: Husband: Lawrence Crawford, Clay Center, KS Son: Lanny and wife Deb Crawford, Clay Center, KS Son: Mikel and wife Johnita Crawford, Clyde, KS Son: Patrick and wife Kandis Crawford, Lindsborg, KS Sister: Vivian Stallsmith, Manhattan, KS Sister: Hellen Davis, Shawnee, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren & 3 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to American Legion Auxillary c/o the funeral home
