HELEN BURRIS died October 21, 2007 Clay Center, KS at the age of 44. She was born on April 7, 1963 in Cherry Point, North Carolina the daughter of Carl and Barbara (Hunt) Burris. She graduated from Junction City High School. Helen worked at Big Lakes Development Center in Manhattan. She enjoyed helping others. Survivors: Father: Carl Burris, Sr., Clay Center, KS Mother: Barbara Hunt, Clay Center, KS Grandfather: Rex Hunt, Dwight , KS Brother: Carl Burris, Jr., Seligman, MO Brother: Mike Burris, Bella Vista , AR Sister: Marjorie Brown, Clay Center, KS Sister: Tina Gosson, Clay Center, KS Fiance: Dennis Halapasky, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in . Officiating the service will be Rev. Susan Sawyer. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2007 the Dwight Cemetery, Dwight, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the Helen Burris Memorial Fund in care of the Union State Bank, Clay Center.
