Helen Kohl

Helen Marie Kohl 89 died May 24, 2021 in Wakefield, KS.  She was born on February 27, 1932 in Miltonvale, the daughter of Ellis and Ruth (Garretson) Shepard.  Helen was raised in the Miltonvale Community. She married Lionel Kohl in 1951.  Helen worked as a tax preparer for many years.  Lionel preceded her in death in 2008.  She was a member of the Miltonvale Christian Church and the Concordia American Legion Auxiliary.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents; son, David; three brothers and three sisters.

Son: Steven and wife Bonnie Kohl of Miltonvale, KS

Daughter: Sonja and husband Scott Borwege of Miltonvale, KS

10 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren

Visitation: Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Phelps Funeral Home
