Helen Oliver

HELEN OLIVER, 90 died June 18, 2015 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. She was born on March 20, 1925 in Concordia, KS, the daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Kristhke) Nutsch. Helen married Kenneth Shea in 1943. She worked for 12 years in the school lunch program for the Morrowville School. Helen also worked 13 years at the Washington Nursing Home. She enjoyed quilting and embroidering. Kenneth preceded her in death in 1985. Later, she married Burnice Oliver in 1987 and he preceded her in death. Helen was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Alter Society for over 50 years and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edward and Francis Nutsch. Survivors: Daughter: Mary Weir, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Cecelia Pickering, Tulsa, OK Son: Dennis Shea, Morrowville, KS 4 Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren Brother: Harold Nutsch, Morrowville, KS Brother: Charles Nutsch, Missouri Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, KS Officiating the service will be The Rev. David Metz Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery, Washington, KS Visitation will be held on from 9:30 AM until service time at the church at St. Augustine Catholic Church Memorials: Meadowlark Hospice or Medicalodge c/o the funeral home
