Helen Whitmire

Helen Whitmire, 90 died April 12, 2019 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on May 6, 1928 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Raymond and Etta (Haines) Hunt. Helen was raised in Junction City and graduated from Junction City High School. She married Gilbert Whitmire and they made their home in California. Helen worked as an administrative assistant at Teledyne Technologies. Gilbert preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gean Nye.
