Howard Scott

HOWARD EUGENE SCOTT died May 21, 2009 at Mercy Health Center College Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 75. He was born on August 15, 1933 in San Jose, California the son of Alonzo and Lillian (Bland) Scott. He was raised in California. He did missionary work in Mexico. Howard married Betty Holmes and she preceded him in death. He later moved to San Francisco and drove a bus for Continental Trailways Busline. He moved to Clay Center in 1987. He married Donna Kay Yount and they later divorced. Howard married Sharon Henderson on August 12, 1995, she survives of the home. He is also preceded by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include: Wife: Sharon Scott, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Kathy and husband Jim Keeler, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Ginger and husband Tom Johnson, San Diego, CA Daughter: Carla and husband Larry Foster, Chula Vista, CA Daughter: Katrina Curry, Manhattan, KS Son: Brian and wife Christa Cote, WY Son: Phillip and wife Kate Cote, WV Son: Danny and wife Sandy Vestal, Chula Vista, CA Son: Larry and wife Nancy Vestal, Chula Vista, CA Step-Daughter: Joy and husband Larry Lund, Clay Center, KS Step-Son: Joel and wife Phyllis Dykla, MI Step-Son: Jay and wife Sarah Dykla, MI Step-Son: Jon and wife Barb Dykla, MI 19 Grandchildren, 26 Great-grandchildren 14 Step-grandchildren & 1 Step-Greatgrandchildren Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Fountain of Life Christian Center in Clay Center Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rick James. Memorials can be made to Organization of the donor's choice
