Ian M. Roetman, 22, of Hays, Kansas, died Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born February 20, 1997 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, the son of Tim Roetman and Amanda (Holbert) Blackwood. Ian grew up in Clay Center, graduating from CCCHS in 2015. He attended KU and Ft. Hays State University and was currently enrolled in the electrician program at NCK Technical College-Hays Campus. Ian worked as a technician for Twin Valley Telephone. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clay Center. He was an avid KU basketball and Philadelphia Eagle fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing on his PlayStation. He maintained a very close relationship with his 2015 high school classmates enjoying vacations and Friends-givings together. He made friends everywhere he went, including a large group in Hays.
