Inez Cowing

INEZ COWING died October 17, 2010 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 86. She was born on May 19, 1924 in Bond, KY the daughter of Claude and Bessie (Helton) Moore. Inez was raised in Kentucky and moved to Clay Center in 1946. She married Kenneth Davies and he preceded her in death in 1973. Inez later married LeRoy Cowing and he survives. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Inez is preceded in death by a brother and a granddaughter. Survivors include: Husband: LeRoy Cowing, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Charlene and husband Dan Carlile, Indianola, IA Step-son: David Cowing, Topeka, KS Step-daughter: Wanda Cowing, Gautier, MS Sister: Pearl Ford, Liberty, IN Sister: Christine Waddell, Connersville, IN Sister: Euldean Miller, Belmont, NC Sister: Lorene Seals, Annville, KY Brother: Robert Moore, Brilliant, OH Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren, 9 Step-grandchildren & 3 Step-great-grandchildren Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to American Legion Auxiliary c/o the funeral home
