IRENE CLARA GREEN died January 18, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 100. She was born on January 17, 1910 in Morganville Kansas, the Daughter of Calvin Lippe and Caroline Taddiken. Irene was raised in Morganville and attended Tabor
country school. She graduated from Clay Center High School in 1928. She helped her family on
the farm until she married Russell Green on November 18, 1932. Irene and Russell farmed in the
Idana community. Russell preceded her in death on October 26, 1996. She moved into Idana
October 1998 and then to Clay Center in 2007. She was a member of the Idana Presbyterian
Church, Presbyterian Missionary Society, Animas Club, EHU and 4-H project leader. Irene is
also preceded by 5 brothers, Harvey, Clarence, Orville, Frederick and William, 1 sister, Minnie
Cyr and a Son-in-law, Ray Kircher.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Idana Cemetery
in Idana, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers.
Burial will be at the Idana Cemetery, Salina, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on None
