IRMA LEE DAMMAN died April 11, 2013 at her residence in rural Clifton, KS at the age of
70. She was born on November 24, 1942 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of William and
Velma (Fajen) Meyerhoff.
Irma was raised south of Palmer and graduated from Linn High School in 1960. She
attended Brown Mackie in Salina received a General Business Degree and worked at the ASCS
office until 1965. She married Jerald Damman on April 18, 1965. Irma then worked as a
substitute for the Clifton-Clyde school district, for Slipsager Insurance, First National Bank and
Sunflower Insurance. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion
Auxiliary where she served as treasurer and she served as a Girl Scout Leader.

Daughter: Jeri Damman and husband Simon Price, Lawrence, KS
Daughter: Annette and husband Mike Conrow, Manhattan, KS
Son: Pat and wife Karla Damman, Clifton, KS
Grandchildren: 10 Grandchildren
Brother: Lowell Meyerhoff, Palmer, KS
Sister: Beryl Beeson, Hayesville, KS
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Linn, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Richard Rikli.
Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Linn, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Monday at Turner Funeral Home in Clifton
Memorials can be made to Cancer Center of Kansas
A Celebration of Life service will also be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Clifton American Legion
