JACK GEORGE, 93 died December 13, 2013 in Manhattan, KS. He was born on September 11, 1920 in Lycon, CO the son of Robert and W. Irma (Gefellers) George.
Jack was raised in Colorado before moving to Bentley, KS with his family. He graduated from Bentley High School. Jack married Ellen Beckner on June 27, 1942. He served in the US Army during WWII. Jack and Ellen moved to Clay Center following the war and Jack farmed in the Morganville area. Jack was a member of the Clay Center Christian Church where he served as an Elder and Sunday school teacher. They moved to Manhattan in 2001 and were members of the University Christian Church. Ellen preceded him in death on September 17, 2010. He is also preceded in death by a sister.

8 Grandchildren and 12 Great- Grandchildren
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the University Christian Church in Manhattan , KS
Officiating the service will be Pastor David Pape
