James C. "Jim" Alexander died February 12, 2008 at Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 80. Jim was born on August 12, 1927 in Clifton, Kansas the son of Trefflia Alexander and Elizabeth Esslinger.
Jim grew up in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School. He married Mary Martin on December 26, 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a pipeline supervisor for Northern Natural Gas from 1953 until 1984. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., D.A.V., Eagles, and N.A.C.E. Jim was also preceded in death by his second wife Norma Andrews; son Kevin; and three sisters, Odella Kantack, Edna Giber, and Lorene Dugan.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clifton, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Father Larry Letourneau and Father Merlin Kieffer.
Burial will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Turner Funeral Home in Clifton, Kansas.
Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the Turner Funeral Home.
