James "Jim" Waggoner

James “Jim Bob” Waggoner Jr., 73, died December 12, 2017 in Manhattan, KS. He was born on May 25, 1944 in Lawrence, Kansas. The son of James, Sr. and Eva (Brecheisen) Waggoner. Jim was raised in Lawrence, KS and graduated from Lawrence High School. He attended the University of Kansas before joining the Navy Air Reserves. Jim married Dianne Frahm on June 1, 1968. He worked as a store manager for Goodyear Tire in Kansas City, KS and Mission, KS. They moved to Clay Center in 1999. Later, Jim worked for Mid-State Heavy Duty Co., retiring in 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Christian Rodders.
