Janice Story

JANICE M STORY died October 8, 2008 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 83. She was born on August 12, 1925 in West Virginia, the daughter of Henry Burkhart and Mabel Strickland. She married James Story on August 7, 1950 and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1983. She lived in Valley Falls, Lillian, NE, and Morrowville, KS. She was a church secretary and organist. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bearly. Survivors include: Daughter: Cindy and husband, Jerry Mayo, Clay Center, KS Son: Dennis and wife, Sue Story, San Jose, CA Grandchildren: 8 Grand and several great grand Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Webb. Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Memorials can be made to may be made to the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
