Jerald Damman

JERALD ALBERT DAMMAN, 74 died March 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1941 in Washington, KS, the son of Albert and Hilda (Krenzel) Damman. Jerald was raised in Washington County. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Linn High School in 1959. Jerald married Irma Meyerhoff on April 18, 1965. He served in the US Army Reserves for six years. Jerald farmed in Washington County his entire life. He also drove a truck for Linn Post and Pipe for 30 years. Irma preceded him in death on April 11, 2013. Jerald was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he serve das an elder, and Clifton American Legions and CO-OP board member for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Daughter: Sheila and husband Jeffrey Rumsey, Goddard, KS Daughter: Jeri Damman and husband Simon Price, Lawrence, KS Daughter: Annette and Husband Mike Conrow, Manhattan, KS Son: Pat and wife Karla Damman, Clifton, KS Sister: Marcile Biekmann, Linn, KS Sister: Maydean Dittmer, Linn, KS Sister: Leola and husband Dennis Grimm, Evansville, IN 10 Grandchildren Brother In Law: Lowell Meyerhoff, Marysville, KS Sister in Law: Beryl Beeson, Haysville Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Palmer, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Richard Rikli Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheral Cemetery, rural Palmer, KS Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Turner Funeral Chapel, Clifton, KS Memorials: Immanuel Lutheran Church
