Jesse Jackson

JESSIE MAE JACKSON died August 6, 2008 at 412 E Parallel, Clifton, KS at the age of 81. She was born on June 15, 1927 in El Paso TX, the daughter of Jesse Sutherlin and Della Dalton. Jessie worked for the Washington County SRS Office, was a scorekeeper for the Clifton ball games, and avid reader, card player and quilter. She was a member of the Clifton American Legion Auxillary for 40 years. She is preceded by a son Willard "Rusty" Jackson, a granddaughter Amy and one sister. Survivors include: Son: Jesse "Shorty" and wife Jan Jackson, Clay Center, KS Son: Kerry and wife Holly Jackson, Meriden, KS Daughter-In-Law: Linda and husband Bernie Fahey, Clifton, KS Grandchildren: 7 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren A private, family service will be held at a later date Visitation will be held on None Memorials can be made to Jessie Mae Jackson memorial fund to be designated later by the family and can be sent c/o the funeral home 918 7th St Clay Center, KS 67432.
