Jimmy Teel

JIMMY LEE TEEL died October 2, 2007 in Pueblo, CO at the age of 58. He was born on July 7, 1949 in Lyons, KS the son of Owen P. and Norma Jean (Swalley) Teel. He served in the US Army. He attended Cloud County Community College, Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. He worked as a foreman for Shurtleff and Andrews. He was a member of U.S. Iron Workers Union #606 in Wichita and U.S. Iron Workers Union #303 in Denver. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: Son: Derek Teel, Manhattan, KS Son: Bruce Teel, Clay Center, KS Sister: Linda Cook, Lyons, KS Sister: Shawnee Swalley, Hutchinson, KS Brother: Floyd Swalley, Nowata, OK Brother: Allyn Swalley, Ft Lauderdale, FL Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Memorials can be made to Jimmy Teel Memorial Fund to be designated later c/o the funeral home
