Joann Dalton

JoAnn T. Dalton, 86 of Oklahoma City, died Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Tuscany Village in Oklahoma City.  She was born on July 18, 1936, in Cloud County, Kansas, the daughter of Hector and Cordelia (LeBlanc) Girard.

JoAnn grew up in Cloud County and graduated from CCCHS in 1955.  She married LeRoy Laffery in 1960 and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1980.  JoAnn worked as a welder at Hutchinson Manufacturing.  She later married Roger Dalton and he preceded her in death on October 15, 2008.  She is also preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Bob and Jim Laffery; 3 sisters; 1 brother; and daughter in-law, Sherron Laffery.

Sons: Tom Laffery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jeff and wife, Stephanie Laffery of Boerne, Texas, Mike Laffery of San Antonio, Texas

Step-Son: Les and wife, Carol Laffery of Clay Center, Kansas

10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11AM Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the JoAnn Dalton memorial fund to be designated later and can be sent c/o the funeral home.
