Joann Nelson

JOANN NELSON died June 18, 2011 at Good Samaritan Center, Minneapolis, KS at the age of 82. She was born on June 17, 1929 in Concordia Kansas, the daughter of Allard and Mary (Henderson) Chase. JoAnn graduated from the Miltonvale Wesleyan College. She moved to Winnebago, IL and worked for a hardware manufacturing company. JoAnn married Don Nelson on September 6, 1960. They moved to Miltonvale in 1976 and then to Aurora in 1983. Don preceded her in death on December 10, 2009. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother. Survivors include: Son: Scott Nelson, Aurora, KS Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Oakland Union Cemetery in Cloud County, Kansas. Burial will be at the Oakland Union Cemetery, Cloud County, KS. Visitation will be held on None Memorials can be made to the organization of the donor's choice
