Joann Marie O'Donnell

JOANN MARIE O'DONNELL died March 17, 2008 at Country Place Senior Living, Clay Center, KS at the age of 78. She was born on April 8, 1929 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of John O'Donnell and Marguerite Esslinger. Joann graduated from Clay Center High School in 1947. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Wichita. She worked as an nurse anesthetist in Wichita. She continued her nursing career at Oklahoma State University from 1984 until she retired in 1994. She returned to Clay Center in 1998. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Organization and American Association of Nurse Anesthetist. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Sister: Dorothy Conover, Wichita, KS Brother: John O'Donnell, Wichita, KS Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Grennan. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home with rosary being recited at 5PM Memorials can be made to Mark A. Chapman Wellness and Fitness Center c/o the funeral home
