Joe Worley

  JOE GARY WORLEY, 78 died September 23, 2015 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. He was born on September 17, 1937 in Clay Center, KS. The Son of Joseph and Velda (DesJardins) Worley.   Joe grew up in the Clay Center community and graduated from CCCHS in 1955. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He attended Wichita State University and then worked for KDOT in Clay County for nearly 40 years. He married Ann Gunter on October 6, 1963 and she survives of the home. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and Clay Center American Legion. He is preceded by his parents, brother Robert and Sister-in-law Dorothy Worley.   Survivors:Wife: Ann Worley, Clay Center, KS Brother: Steve and wife Carol Worley, Clay Center KS  Sister: Vicki and husband Doug Marshall, Brookville, KS Sister: Patti and husband Steve Curtiss, Topeka, KS Sister: Robin and husband Kenny Rouse, Brownwood, TX Numerous nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 28 at 10:30am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in theGreenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 2-5pm at the funeral home.
