John "Jack" Foster passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the age of 88. Jack was born March 8, 1929 to Joe and Mildred (Henkel) Foster in Topeka Kansas. Jack was raised in Concordia, Missouri. He later moved to Nortonville, Ks where he graduated high school. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Ill. He married Lulu Hoffman on December 24, 1947 and she preceded him on June 7, 2010. He moved to Miltonvale and worked with his parents at Twin Valley Telephone. He was a member of the Miltonvale Methodist Church, Mason's, Lions Club, BPOE, National Leadership Circle/Ahearn Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Mike and son-in-law John Gisselbeck. Survivors: Daughter: Penny Gisselbeck, Miltonvale, KS Daughter: Peg Foster and Heidi Daughn-Foster, Gunnison, CO.
