Jon Griffiths

JON ALLAN GRIFFITHS, 74 died April 30, 2016 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. He was born on November 21, 1941 in Clay County, KS, the son of Earl and Rhea (Woodside) Griffiths. Jon was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1959. He married Connie Rieger on April 14, 1967. Jon served in the US Navy. He worked as an electrician and then as a Journeyman Lineman. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a former member of Clay Center First Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by parents. Survivors: Wife: Connie Griffiths, Clay Center, KS Son: Robert and wife Athena Griffiths, Oklahoma City, OK Daughter: Jennifer and husband Daren Samson, Hamilton, OH Five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Sister: Jo and husband Bobby Ray, Clay Center, KS Brother: William and wife Cheryl Griffiths, South Carolina Sister: Barbara Donaldson, North Carolina Sister: Charlene Griffiths, North Carolina Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 3-8 PM atNeill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: may be made to the Church or Medicalodge and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
