Joseph Gonzales

Joseph L Gonzales, 86 died October 12, 2024, in Clay Center, KS.  He was born on May 29, 1938, in Watsonville, California.

Joe was a veteran of the US Air Force and served for 8 years. He was last stationed at Schilling Air Force Base in Salina, KS where he met his wife Mary A Landoll of Hanover, KS. Joe spent his working years at GT Manufacturing and Landoll Corporation. He grew up with a love for the outdoors including hunting, fishing, playing softball and golf.

He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years Mary A (Landoll) Gonzales of Clay Center, KS.

Daughters: Ginger and husband Robert Walker and Robin and husband Terry Thurlow all of Clay Center, KS

Grandchildren: Jarod and wife Amanda Walker of Olathe, KS and Josie Walker of Clay Center, KS.

Great-Grandchild: Collins Walker of Olathe, KS

The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM followed by visitation at 10:00 AM at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, KS

Inurnment: with Air Force honors will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas
