Joyce Bigler

JOYCE ANN BIGLER, 62 died April 2, 2016 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on January 28, 1954 in Concordia, KS. The daughter of Ronald and Phyllis (Girard) Collette. Joyce grew up in Aurora and attended Concordia High School. She lived in Manhattan and in Albuquerque, N.M. for 17 years before moving back to Kansas in the early 1990s. Joyce married Bruce Bigler on June 24, 1995 and they lived in Perry, KS. She worked for Sallie Mae Industries and DST Systems in Lawrence. The couple moved to Clay Center in 2008. She was a member of the Linn American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Brian Collette. Survivors: Husband: Bruce Bigler, Clay Center, KS Son: Jon Lacey, Cedar Crest, NM Daughter: Angela Lacey, Albuquerque, NM Brother: Larry Collette, Wamego, KS Brother: Gary Collette, Salina, KS Sister: Mary Beth VanRoekel, Logan, KS Brother: Jerry Collette, Lindsborg, KS Sister: Kay L'Ecuyer, Hesston, KS Brother: Ronnie Collette, Lecompton, KS Sister: Linda St. Pierre, Concordia, KS Brother: Mark Collette, Concordia, KS Sister: Judy Hamilton, Hutchinson, KS 5 grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:30AM at the Clay Center United Methodist Church in Clay Center, KS. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ryan Lynch. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 3-7PM. The Rosary will be recited at 7PM. At Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
