JOYCE ELIZABETH BRADEN, 89 died January 12, 2015 at Golden LivingCenter in Wakefield, KS. She was born on November 28, 1925 in Riley County, Kansas. The daughter of George and Bernice (Elkins) Randle.
Joyce was raised in the Bala community of Riley County. She graduated from Wakefield High School in 1943. She attended Kansas State College Normal Training. She married Duane R. Braden on May 21, 1944 and he preceded her on May 22, 1980. They farmed and she drove a school bus for USD #379. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wakefield, O.E.S., Library Club and U&I Club. She is preceded by infant son, Scott Duane, granddaughter, Katie Ann Mathis, parents and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 10:30am at Wakefield United Methodist Church.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Will Kenyon
Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Wakefield, Kansas
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16 from 5-7pm at Wakefield United Methodist Church.
