JUANITA LOUISE CYR died July 28, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS at the age of 80. Juanita was born on January 13, 1930 in Bagley, Iowa the daughter of Charles Ival Badger and Dorothy Cox. She graduated high school in Cooper, Iowa. Juanita worked for Gilmore-Tatge and Mellies Products. She was a cook at the Morganville School and was later a waitress at the Morganville Cafe. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, playing cards and playing the lottery. She was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death in by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: Daughter: Cheryl Cyr and husband, Carl Bickford, Thurman, IA Daughter: Carla Andrewson, Morganville, KS Grandchildren: Richie and wife Marla Mellies of Longford, KS, Brandon and wife, Marie Andrewson of Oviedo, FL, Nathan and wife, Stacie Andrewson of Omaha, NE, and Christopher Andrewson Great Grandchildren: McCade Mellies, McKinley Mellies, Brayden & Alexis Andrewson, and Tyler and Kyle Andrewson Sister: Jeanne and husband Roger Shields, Dallas Center, IA Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11:00AM at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Father Larry Grennan. Burial will be at the Morganville Cemetery, Morganville, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from 3-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm at the funeral home Memorials can be made to may be made to the Juanita Cyr Memorial Fund to be designated later in care of the funeral home.
