JUNE I. CROWL died July 17, 2010 at Kansas Christian Home, Newton, KS at the age of 89. She was born on June 26, 1921 in Vining, KS the daughter of Vern Hitsman and Mary Elizabeth Mosburg. June was raised and attended school in Clay Center. She married John Hubbard, he preceded her in death on July 4, 1945. June then married Wilfred Crowl on August 5, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1984. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is also preceded by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Louis and wife Nancy Crowl, Newton, KS Daughter: Jean and husband Stan Shephard, Maize, KS Daughter: JoAnn and husband Bruce Carlson, Arvada, CO Daughter: Gloria and husband Lewis Oldham, Greenleaf, KS Brother: Ronald Hitsman, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 8 Grand, 14 Great-grand & 8 Great-great-grand Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Nancy Crowl. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Lighthouse for Christ c/o the funeral home
