Katherine Machen

Katherine Machen, age 76, died August 13, 2017 at her residence in Clay Center. She was born May 25, 1941 in Sibley, Iowa to Ellery and Ruth (Immens) Hass. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Hawes and husband Hermann Jared, Clay Center, son, Chris Machen, Killeen, Texas, daughter-in-law, Tonya and companion Howard VanDyke, Clay Center, 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Brenden Machen. No services are planned. Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home.
