Kay Taylor

Clanora Kay Taylor, 75, of Clay Center, died on Saturday, July18, 2026 at the Clay Center Presbyterian Manor. She was born on October 19, 1950 in Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Forrest “Woodie” and Katherine Lucille (Hughes) Taylor. Kay attended schools in Clay Center before moving to Colorado for several years where she graduated from high school.

Kay moved back to Clay Center and lived with her parents. She and her mother ran Kay’s Corner Gift Shop for several years. Kay was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center. She was preceded in death by several cousins.

Kay is survived by numerous cousins.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Utility Park Zoo, with checks payable to CCCIF and put “zoo” in the memo, and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
