Keith Hardesty

KEITH LAVERN HARDESTY, 73 died April 22, 2009 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was born on July 23, 1935 in Cloud County,Kansas the son of Orlin and Minnie (Gunter) Hardesty. He attended Garfield District 91 country school and graduated from CCCHS in 1953. He farmed with his father and worked at Gilmore Tatge. He moved east of Clifton to farm in 1963. He married Marvis Fortin Descoteaux on September 7, 1985. Upon retiring in 2008 the couple moved to Clifton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Terry. Survivors: Wife: Marvis Hardesty, Clifton, KS Daughter: Sheila and her husband, Daniel Kiska, Gilbert, AZ Daughter: Saundra and her husband, Roger Graman, Chapel Hill, NC Son: Oren and his wife, Staci Hardedsty, Hutchinson, KS Step-Daughter: Charlene and her husband, Dave Longshore, Florence, KS Step-Daughter: Sherry Descoteaux, Glendale, AZ Sister: Shirley and her husband, Warren Fritz, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 6 Grand 2 Great Grand 8 Step-Grand and 9 Step-Great Grand Funeral Services: Monday,April 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Minister: Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation: will be from 2-5 PM Sunday at Turner's Funeral Home in Clifton. Memorials: may be made to the Keith Hardesty Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
