Keith Macy

KEITH MACY died November 20, 2009 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 93. He was born on July 21, 1916 in Green Kansas, the son of Rolland Macy and Hattie Hill. He was raised and attended school in Courtland and Haddam and graduated from Haddam High School. He farmed with his father in Osborn County and Clay County. Keith married Marie Rock on December 26, 1941, she survives of the home. They farmed near Wakefield and later near Oak Hill. They moved to Clay Center in 2006. He was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Wesleyan #7 Cemetery Board, Farmer's CO-OP and Kansas Farm Bureau. He is preceded in death by two sisters Margaret Macy and Helen Allison. Survivors include: Wife: Marie Macy, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Naomi and husband Don Chisam, Chelsea, OK Daughter: Margaret Ann and husband Stephen Frusher, Selby, SD Son: Ed and wife Charlotte Macy, Ponca City, OK Sister: LoRee Allison, Minneapolis, KS Grandchildren: 7 Grand & 14 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Pastor Rob Stewart. Burial will be at the Wesleyan # 7 Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 5-6:30 Memorials can be made to the Wesleyan Church or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
