Kenneth Depew

KENNETH DEPEW died February 21, 2013 at 20 C St, Washington, KS at the age of 81. He was born on May 14, 1931 in Kimeo, Kansas the son of Earl and Margaret (Mullen) Depew. Kenneth was raised in the Kimeo Community. He married Ruth Neal on May 28, 1954. Kenneth worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 33 years, retiring in 1993. He operated a road grader for Washington County townships for several years after his retirement. Kenneth was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and a brother. Survivors include: Wife: Ruth Depew, Washington, KS Daughter: Karen Buckner, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Francine Arpin, Washington, KS Son: Richard Depew and fiance Velia , San Antonio, TX Daughter: Colleen and Jerry Hartman, Arkansas City, KS Son: Pat and wife Tina Depew, Leavenworth, KS Daughter: Rose Gebers, Marysville, KS Sister: Gloria Hiltgen, Linn, KS Sister: Patricia Rhodes, Independence, MO Grandchildren: 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchild Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, Kansas. Officiating the service will be The Rev. David Metz. Burial will be at the Kimeo Cemetery, Kimeo, KS. Visitation will be held on 3-7 PM Monday at the funeral home with rosary at 7PM Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
