Kenneth Esslinger

KENNETH ESSLINGER died May 31, 2010 at Memorial Hospital, Abilene, KS at the age of 83. He was born on February 20, 1927 in Clifton Kansas, the son of Leo Esslinger and Flossie Zimmer. He was born and raised in the Clifton area. He attended school in Clifton and Clyde. Kenneth was a rancher in Berryville, AR for 13 years. He moved to Abilene and was co-owner of E-Z Gun and Pawn Shop for 15 years. He also operated a road grader in Clifton, Clay Center and Grant townships for many years. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Eugene and Eldon and a half brother Donald. Survivors include: Brother: Matthew Esslinger, Abilene, KS Sister: Maxine Girard, Concordia, KS Sister: Berniece Schreiber, Concordia, KS Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the St. Marys Catholic Church in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Letourneau. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM at Turner Funeral home with a vigil service at 7PM Memorials can be made to St. Marys Catholic Church
