KENNETH WILLIAM JUREY died December 17, 2009 at Community Care Inc.,
Clifton, KS at the age of 88. He was born on June 19, 1921 in Washington County, Kansas the
son of William Jurey and Ruby Wells. He attended Graham Grade School District 50 and
graduated from Agenda High School in 1939. Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Army in WWII.
After WWII he farmed with his father and later on his own. He married Orcena Michelson on
September 25, 1955 and she survives. He was a member of the Brantford Covenant Church
where he served as Sunday School superintendant, youth leader, treasurer, trustee, and deacon for
many years and he also sang in the choir. Kenneth served on the Northern District Church
Conference board for the Covenant Church. He was past chairman for the Rusco Cemetery
District #12 and served on the Brantford Township board for many years. He was a member of
the Washington County Farm Bureau, Clifton American Legion, and the Veteran's of Foreign
Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sister: Ruth and husband Marvin Carlson, Topeka, KS
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Brantford
Evangelical Covenant Church.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Russell Sizemore.
Burial will be at the Rusco Cemetery, Washington County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday at Turner's Funeral Home in Clifton.
Memorials can be made to may be made to the church or to Community Care, Inc. in care of the
funeral home.
