Kenneth Thomas

KENNETH THOMAS, 91 died November 23, 2015 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. He was born on April 23, 1924 in Aurora, NE. The son of Leo Charles and Eva Mable (Arritt) Thomas. Kenneth was raised in Nebraska. He served in the US Army in the South Pacific during WWII. He married Wilma Dodge on November 2, 1946. Kenneth worked as a railroad Agent for the Rock Island Railroad at Clyde, Clifton, Morganville and Clay Center. He retired from St. Louis-Southwestern Railway Company. He was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church and the Clyde V.F.W. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Opal Hetrick. Survivors: Wife: Wilma Thomas, Clay Center, KS Son: Kenneth (Karla)Thomas, Cedar Park, TX Son: Lynn (Connie)Thomas, Riley, KS Son: Alan (Janice)Thomas, Box Elder, SD 9 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren Brother: Charles Thomas, Lakewood,CA Brother: Eugene Thomas, Callaway, NE Brother: Donald Thomas, Long Beach, CA Sister: Darlene Jackson, Encino, CA Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:30PM at the Clay Center United Methodist Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Ryan Lynch Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway, NE on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 from Noon until service time Monday at Clay Center United Methodist Church Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
