Kevin J. Jackson, Sr.

KEVIN JAMES JACKSON, SR. died November 29, 2011 at his residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 48. Kevin was born on October 20, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Mastin Dee Bud”, Jr. and Judy C. (Woods) Jackson. Kevin was raised in Wichita, Ks. and attended Clay Center schools. He served in the National Guard from 1980 until 1984. He married Vickie Rhodes on November 2, 1981 and they later divorced. He owned his own truck and was a over the road truck driver for various companies. He was a member of the Clay Center Eagles Lodge and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother Mastin Dee Jackson III and a grandson Romeo Meade. Survivors include: Daughter: Alicia Burton, Junction City, KS Son: Kevin Jackson, O'Neill, NE Daughter: Casey and husband Steven Roberts , Junction City, KS Son: Shawn and wife Amanda Jackson, Junction City, KS Son: Joseph Jackson, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Danielle and husband Joey Posey, Junction City, KS Sister: Joquetta and husband Terry Eierdam, Texas City, TX Sister: Zelda and husband Rick Stewart, League City, TX Brother: Troy and wife Jennifer Jackson, Manhattan, KS 17 grandchildren Mother: Judy Marksman, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center , Kansas. Visitation will be held on From 1PM until service time, Friday, December 2nd. Memorials can be made to Kevin J. Jackson Memorial Fund, to be designated later by the family.
